38mm "Shoreline" Tooled Full Grain Leather Belt

Full grain leather belt, hand-made and sourced in Australia. Metal buckle, keeper and Chicago screws. This belt is hand tooled from plain leather lengths to give it a simple yet formal pattern.

NOTE: Use the sizing guide to find your belt size and make sure to select the correct size in your order, it is best to select above your measurement, if you measure 31.25 inches select a 32 inch belt.

Most belts are made of genuine leather which has the tough, top layer removed to allow for a smoother, unblemished product at the cost of longevity. Full grain leather belts retain the tough outer layer at the cost of not absorbing dye and oil well and evenly. These belts don't look perfect but will last and can endure harsh environments. The weak point in a leather belt is the hardware holding the buckle which is why this belt uses Chicago screws held with Loctite adhesive to allow a stronger bond which can be adjusted or replaced if needed. We put a lot of oil into the belt first to make sure the belt is flexible and protected. The edges are trimmed, burnished and wax sealed to give it a formal finish. Once tooled it is dyed and sealed with Resolene to ensure the belt stays protected from the elements.
